Firstly
apologies for the long silence on the website front. So many of you
have kindly contacted us via different media formats over recent years
to both thank us for the enjoyment the first album has given you and
also to ask WHEN will the follow to up to The Last Horizon be.
Antony
and myself have tried to answer consistently that the second album has
in fact been pencilled out in demo format for some time now ready to go
into the studio whenever a time slot can be found, we have had a nice
problem that the success of the other AKP projects Sunchild. Karfagen
and now Akko plus the time take up with live shows across Europe have
meant that there was no need to hurry to jump back into Hoggwash 2.
like all our work it is very personal to us and being the first project
we worked together fully on it holds a very special place in our hearts.
We
are still very proud of the album but know that we have learnt so much
since then that with the follow up that if we can retain the innocence
held within its sound and structure Hoggwash 2 will be a real
celebration of all that is good in our genre.
So
now I can at last officially let you know Hoggwash 2 is now booked to
start studio recording on the 6th June ready for release late October
early November.
All
fans who have been in contact with us know that the working title of
second album of the trilogy was Casino Of Life, that working title
still remains but is subject to how the track recording pans out as the
track itself may end up on the final album of the trilogy, I know what
the title will be if this happens but will keep it just Hoggwash 2 till
the recording has finished.
So
please, from June onward, check out this site as we will update and
provide mp3s and footage of the early studio mixes as we go along.
Without
your support there is little point in making the music so to get so
many emails saying how much you are enjoying our music means everything
to Antony and myself.
